The US Bureau of Labor Statistics reports a national median annual wage of $80,110 for radiologic technologists and technicians and $95,480 for MRI technologists in May 2025. These are different occupational categories. The median is not an entry-level promise.
Make a fair comparison
Compare the same role, location, hours and data year. A higher hourly rate can be offset by fewer paid hours, a longer commute or different benefits. Ask whether a quoted rate includes a shift differential and whether hours are guaranteed.
Use this information
Use national data as context for questions. Use the employer’s written offer for your own calculation. The interactive comparison tool lets you enter your figures without treating national medians as your forecast.
