Radiography uses X-ray imaging. MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves. Both involve patient care, equipment and safety procedures, but they are not interchangeable jobs.

Ask about the patients served, shift patterns, physical demands, safety training, clinical experience and credential requirements for the actual role. A national wage difference does not establish which career is the better fit for you.
